Zubada National Institution
Zubada National Institution is a non-profitable organization established in 1989 and registered with registrar of societies Govt. of JK under the registration no. 2336-s on 23 june 1995. This organization aims at uplifting the poor and marginalized sections of society especially women, children and artisans. Zubada National Institution has organized different awareness general programmes, training programmes (tailoring, sozni embroidery, handloom weaving, pashmina spinning etc.), health awareness programmes, exibitions, seminars and workshops from last 29 years in different areas of Anantnag District.
18 Years of Service and Resilience
The organization is running crèche programme from last 18 years and has benefited more than 2700 children in this scheme. The organization also runs a family counseling center at Anantnag headquater since 2004 and works for helpless women and children. In 2005, our organization played a significant role in responding to the earthquakes in Uri sector and waltengoo Qazigund immediately coordinating with local authorities to rescue survivors trapped under debris, distribution of food, clean water and clothes. The 2014 Kashmir floods were one of the most devastating natural disasters to hit the region, our organization provided immediate relief and mobile medical camps were set up to treat injuries and prevent waterborne diseases. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed unprecedented challenges worldwide and our organization played a vital role in mitigating its impact in Kashmir. Our efforts spanned across healthcare, awareness campaigns, economic and livelihood support.
